Periphery

PERFECTA’s high-performance peripherals automate and optimize workflows before, during, and after cutting. The systems are designed to minimize physical strain on the operator while increasing the efficiency of the entire production process. By linking the individual steps, the systems create cost-effective workflows that meet the requirements of industrial print shops as well as packaging and label production.

Loading

Lifting the material to be cut is an essential part of the cutting process, helping to speed up the operation and make it more ergonomic. The BSH stack lift enables work at table height by automatically raising and lowering the pallets, which minimizes physical effort and prevents improper strain. The BB loader offers further automation by automatically separating the layers and feeding them to the high-speed cutter via either the front or rear table. The BLL air board lift serves as a cost-effective solution for small formats; it is used to lift and buffer multiple sheets to compensate for time differences between the shuffling and cutting processes.

Alignment

Precisely aligned sheets are essential for high-quality cutting. The BSB L series automatic shaking machines position the material correctly and press excess air out of the stack. The BSB L Professional model also enables edge-to-edge air removal, ensuring precisely pressed sheets—especially for challenging materials such as labels or metallic papers. The BASA and BASA Evolution shaking systems provide fully automatic preparation, handling the lifting, shaking, and destacking without manual intervention. For large-scale air removal from voluminous materials in medium and large formats, the BPS pressing station is used to achieve a compact cutting stack and an improved cut quality.

Transport

Automated transport systems ensure an efficient workflow and minimize downtime. The linearly guided BFS conveyor system transports cut material even over long distances and can temporarily store material at integrated buffer stations to optimize the process. The BTE push system feeds material directly into the high-speed cutter via the front or rear table. To implement fully automatic four-sided trimming, the BDG and BDG e rotary grippers are used; these grippers automatically align and rotate the sheets, significantly increasing productivity, especially for large formats. Air tables (LT) serve as flexible connecting elements between the devices and provide additional intermediate buffer stations for material handling.

Unloading

Efficient unloading of the finished sheets ensures high stacking quality, which is necessary for direct further processing during printing or folding. The BA unloader enables the quick placement of the cut sheets onto pallets with a height of up to 1,800 mm. The BSH stack lift is used to assist with manual unstacking; by ergonomically adjusting the working height, it reduces the physical effort required by the operator. For buffering and unloading multiple small-format sheets, the BLL air-board lift can also be used to compensate for differences between cutting and post-processing times.

Counting

Accurate quantity determination is of central importance for production planning and operational cost accounting. The BZW sheet-counting scale determines the exact number of pieces in a stack and features dynamic memory management for efficient operation. The collected data can be transferred directly into the company’s workflow via an integrated interface.
