Cutting 4.0 PERFECTA Interfaces

Network Connection

The network connection of PERFECTA cutting machines is established via Ethernet and OPC UA interfaces.

This allows the following modules to be implemented:

Prepress Data Connection

Using the Cuttronic software, CIP4 data (*.ppf or *.jdf) can be processed into cutting programs either on an external computer or directly in the machine control system.
Straight2Cut

Decreasing print runs and increasing order volumes lead to a growing amount of data. By scanning the job ticket, the corresponding job file for the order opens in seconds without any manual searching.
Feedback of Production Data

The machine control system reports production data—such as job name, operator, processing time, and job status—to higher-level MIS systems.
Real-Time Feedback on Machine Status

The machine status is reported back via an OPC UA interface. This enables production planning to react at an early stage.
Remote Service / Remote Maintenance

In the event of machine malfunctions, quick and straightforward troubleshooting or fault localization can be performed by the manufacturer via remote maintenance, significantly improving machine availability.
