As the central control element, the touchscreen interface can thus be customized individually. Clear icons make handling the machine simple and intuitive. All workflows before, during, and after cutting can be monitored and evaluated centrally. This ensures a smooth and efficient workflow and is an essential building block for a cost-effective production process.

Product Options

Extensions for the Three-Knife Trimmer SDY TS

With the product options, you have numerous ways to customize the cutting machine to suit your needs.

  • Stack Magazine

    The stack magazine is manually loaded with products. A feeding device automatically picks up the material to be cut and feeds it to the insertion pliers. The advantage: the stack magazine and output tray can be operated by a single person.

  • Cutting-Off

    Multi-sheet processing is performed using a cutting-off unit. The cut-off sheet is returned to the operator via the cutting-off carriage and manually reinserted into the feed clamp.

  • 4-Side Trimming

    Using only one side knife and the front knife, the product can be manually rotated in return mode and trimmed on all four sides. The formats are set by entering the dimensions on the touchscreen and adjusting the front stop.

  • Small Format

    Small formats down to a minimum of 50 × 65 millimeters can be processed using modified back stops on the feed clamp, a small-format cutting plate, and a special pressure die.

  • Large Format

    Large formats up to a maximum of 350 × 500 millimeters can be processed using extended side knives, an enlarged cutting plate, and a special press stamp.

  • Accessory Cart

    The accessory cart makes it easy to store all necessary accessories.

  • Silicone Spray System

    The side knives are coated with silicone in the area of the book spine to prevent adhesive from sticking to the knives. The number of cuts per application can be selected.

  • Carbide Blades

    PERFECTA carbide blades are ideal for machining a variety of materials. Compared to standard HSS blades, carbide blades are exceptionally durable and guarantee a longer service life. The corresponding cutting strips are available to match the blades.

  • Discharge Extension

    The discharge length can be extended with modules according to customer requirements.

  • Chip Conveyor

    A chip conveyor automatically removes the cut material from beneath the discharge area.

  • Side Table for Front Table Extension

    A mobile side table can be used to transport, buffer, or store products. This provides additional work and storage space.
