Following the fully automated shaking process, we have now also fully automated the cutting process. Unmanned cutting in a 3-shift operation, around the clock.
At the heart of the cutting system is the integrated robot, equipped with a gripper system we developed specifically for paper processing, which takes over the operator’s tasks during the cutting process. The robot can be configured to replicate the “dexterity” of an experienced operator. Whether gripping, aligning, rotating, tapping, or even transferring to an intermediate buffer or unloader—these steps no longer require manual intervention. The feed can be directed to the right, to the left, or alternately to the right and left.
The robot technology, when combined with the BASA evolution—the world’s first and only fully automatic shaking and cutting system for further processing in the graphic arts industry—offers an absolute highlight. Simply load your pallet of printed sheets into the BASA evolution, and at the end of the line—without any further intervention by operators—you’ll receive the finished, cut sheets, unloaded onto another pallet.

Simplest Operation
The controls for both the cutting machine and the robot are designed for the simplest, most intuitive touchscreen operation. Optionally, the cutting system can be equipped with an additional operating unit, enabling fast access to parameter data at any time.
High Availability
The RC system is designed for 3-shift operation. In combination with additional peripheral equipment, such as the BASA evolution or the vertical buffer, the entire jogging and cutting process can be fully automated. In addition, short setup and maintenance times guarantee high availability.
