Strong together. Postpress Alliance: The formula for added value in postpress

The Postpress Alliance, which was established in 2019 as bond of six strong, complementary brands in print finishing looks forward to their first official joint trade fair participation. Exploiting synergies together, recording, analyzing and efficiently serving the needs of customers across the entire spectrum of postpress - this will be the focus of the Postpress Alliance for baumannperfecta, Bograma, H+H, Hohner, MBO and Wohlenberg at DRUPA 2024 too. The trade public may expect the Alliance members to provide real connectivity and many automation solutions with clear added value for customers at the eagerly awaited DRUPA 2024 in Düsseldorf. Supplemented by three temporary drupa partners, Blumer Maschinenbau AG, NBS AG and financial service provider PEAC Solutions, the exhibition portfolio at the first physical joint booth will be even more comprehensive and will reflect the almost complete workflow of a state-of-the-art production operation.
A visit to the 1,240 m² booth no. 15E20 already promises valuable insights into many exciting technological innovations relating to automation and robotics in terms of cost and personnel, optimizing the use of resources. Be a part of it and don’t miss anything.

WORKING together is one thing, CELEBRATING together is another. Let work be work and instead laugh, dance, chat and celebrate.
On September 22nd 2023 our fantastic Oktoberfest location opened its doors.
Our employee event this year at the Bautzen location resulted in numerous smiling faces. The joy of the brilliant celebration was felt by everyone, just as we wished.
Thanks to all colleagues who were there and made the evening unforgettable. A big thank to our organizing team for this successful event! You are phenomenal!

We warmly invite you to the second Alliance Days of the Postpress Alliance.
This time, the event will take place in two different formats:
• 11/16-11/19/2021: Open House (Live-Event) at baumannperfecta in Solms/Germany
We open our doors for you and present you and your customers our machines personally on site.
• 11/30-12/1/2021: Virtual VIP-Event via Video-Live-Broadcast
You already know this format from our previous events: You and your customers arrange individual meetings for non-binding video appointments. Your advantage compared to similar concepts: We do not offer webinars with several participants, but exclusive 1:1 VIP meetings with us!

Alliance World – The virtual booth of the Postpress Alliance
Excited visitors, many innovtive features, upbet moral and delighted faces on the side of the exhibitors, that's probably the best way to describe the first Alliance Days of the Postpress Alliance that took place from November 24 - 27,2020.
The decision for the launch of this event between companies Baumann Maschinenbau Solms, Bograma, H+H Hohner Maschinenbau, MBO Postpress Solutions, Perfecta and Wohlenberg, was a completely new hybrid concept. The perfecat mix between virtual world on one hand and the available Video-Live-Demos held in the exhibitors' real showrooms, offered the latest news of the six strong partner brands for the print finishing.
"After the fair is before the fair."
The Postpress Alliance will continue to use this created space of the virtual exhibition and fill it with life also in the future. The 365 days a year open showroom will bear the name Postpress Alliance World and will be periodicallyy updated. Its contents will consistently ring the changes and create exciting moments for the customers.

The Postpress Alliance - Stay connected.
The "Postpress Alliance" (the alliance between the companies Baumann Maschinenbau Solms, Bograma, Herzog+Heymann, Hohner Maschinenbau, MBO Postpress Solutions, Wohlenberg and PERFECTA) had prepared for drupa with innovative solutions and a lot of passion. With the comprehensive service portfolio of the alliance, from data transfer from the MIS, cutting, folding, punching, perfect binding or wire stitching to the processing of mailing and outsert systems, the alliance - in line with the slogan "we connect" - is driving the joint activities forward. After all, the market innovations planned for drupa are, of course, still to be presented in 2020.
The first Postpress Alliance Open House at Hohner in Tuttlingen at the end of November will provide the perfect stage for this. Dealers and customers can look forward to many future-oriented impulses and solutions for print finishing.

BASA evolution - Innovation 2020
The automated solution for finishing
Rely on innovative technology instead of muscle strength! The BASA evolution is the perfect automated solution for your finishing process – whether for the label production, packaging printing or for commercial printing. In the standard version, as low-cost starter version for the automatic jogging, the BASA evolution can be equipped with further options for a complete automated line. Depending on the features, the machine transfers jogged, aligned and pressed layers directly to the rear table of the high-speed cutter, to a buffer space or alternatively towards two cutters.
Quality Made in Germany
The BASA has been developed in Germany and is manufactured at our location in Solms, Hessen. The use of the latest and high-quality components and technology, as for example the Air Knife Technology for significantly reduced air consumption, guarantees a high availability of the system and, at the same time, a careful handling of the resources. The most modern drive technology in combination with intelligent controls ensure easy operation and low energy consumption. Moreover, the BASA evolution convinces due to the low footprint.
Perfect cutting results
Proven jogging technology from BAUMANN and a significantly higher pressing power ensure perfectly aligned layers and thus always perfect cutting results.
Easiest operation
The completed new developed user interface ensures a very easy and intuitive operation. The use of stateof-the-art control technology guarantees a high level of security, also for the future.
High availability
Due to the persisting vibrations, the jogging process is a challenge for all components. That is why we equip the BASA with high-quality parts – with high-performance bearings, optimized components and improved servo technology – high availability is granted.
Efficiency
Besides the effect that you can use your staff more efficiently thanks to the automatic jogging, the BASA evolution has been optimized to grant a careful use of resources. Most modern drive technology and the latest air-knife technology ensure lowest consumption values.
Flexible use
Thanks to the swivelling jogging table, the new BASA evolution is universally applicable - whether for direct feeding of the rear-table of the cutter, a buffer space or of two cutters simultaneously.

For the very first tim
e baumannperfecta will exhibit at Drupa 2020 on a joint stand surface of approx. 1400 sqm in Hall 16, Stand B23/1-6. It is under the flag of The Postpress Alliance - recently brought into being by Baumann Maschinenbau Solms, Bograma, Herzog + Heymann, Hohner, MBO, PERFECTA and Wohlenberg - that these German SME companies will present such new cooperation. The idea behind this is to use the individual, complementary strong core competences of each partner and to mutually identify areas of synergies in the aim to offer real added value to the customer. It is in this spirit that The Postpress Alliance will act as its global market launch under the motto "we connect." and demonstrate to the audience an extensive range of production processes starting from the data transfer from the MIS, through to cutting, folding, diecutting, perect binding, saddle stitching and finally even to the converting of mailing and outsert systems. Thus, the partnership nearly reproduces the total postpress workflow with all according typical processes of a converting company. Visitors should definitely not miss stopping at the stand of such concentratetd competence.
